Greg continues his expedition through the realm of Hammer horror films, this time selecting the recent addition, “The Lodge,” to mark the holiday season. “The Lodge” is a film that masterfully blends psychological horror with elements of folk traditions and religious extremism. Prepare to be captivated by the story of a soon-to-be stepmother who finds herself stranded at a remote cabin with her fiancé’s two children during Christmas. As the isolation and eerie atmosphere take hold, the lines between reality and delusion blur, leaving the audience questioning everything they see. Complement your cinematic experience with a special “Gaslight” cocktail. As you savor the flavors of this festive libation, let the conversation flow, delving deeper into the psychological complexities and chilling twists that make “The Lodge” a truly unforgettable viewing experience.
