This week on the Scary Spirits Podcast, we’re headin’ out to Perfection, Nevada to celebrate Kevin Bacon’s birthday on July 8 by revisiting the cult classic 1990 horror comedy, Tremors!
Now listen here—if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that when giant underground monsters start shaking up the desert, you’d better grab a plan, a friend, and maybe a stiff drink. Join hosts Karen and Greg as they dig deep into everything that makes Tremors a fan-favorite creature feature, from Kevin Bacon’s unforgettable performance as Valentine McKee to the film’s perfect blend of horror, comedy, suspense, and good old-fashioned monster mayhem.
While discussing Graboids, survival tactics, memorable characters, and why Tremors remains one of the greatest creature-feature movies ever made, they’ll be sipping on a specially crafted “Tremor” cocktail.
Whether you’re a longtime Tremors fan, a Kevin Bacon enthusiast, or just love classic horror-comedy movies and themed cocktails, this episode is packed with fun, laughs, and enough monster talk to make the ground beneath your feet feel just a little less trustworthy.
So climb up on the nearest rooftop, keep an eye on the dirt, and join us for a birthday celebration of Kevin Bacon, a deep dive into Tremors (1990), and another wildly entertaining episode of the Scary Spirits Podcast!
