Something ancient is stirring beneath London… so naturally, Karen and Greg have made cocktails.
This week, the Scary Spirits podcast celebrates the upcoming November 9th anniversary of the 1967 Hammer Horror classic Quatermass and the Pit. Blending British science fiction, Gothic horror, extraterrestrial mystery, and apocalyptic terror, Quatermass and the Pit remains one of Hammer Films’ most fascinating journeys into the unknown.
Join Karen and Greg as they discuss the movie’s story, characters, atmosphere, and enduring place in classic British horror cinema, all while enjoying this week’s specially created cocktail, the “Martian Martini.”
What begins as a mysterious discovery beneath the streets of London soon becomes something far more disturbing, forcing Professor Quatermass to confront questions about humanity’s origins that perhaps mankind was never meant to answer.
So pour yourself something strong and join us for classic Hammer Horror, vintage science fiction, movie trivia, cocktails, and spirited conversation.
The truth is down there.
Whether you truly wish to uncover it… is another matter entirely.
