It’s been a while since our hosts reviewed a film starring Fay Wray, so Greg thought it would be a good idea to watch the 1934 film, Black Moon this week. Join Greg and Karen as they discuss the film while they enjoy a “Voodoo Sunrise” cocktail. The recipe that Greg found on cocktailbuilder.com is below.

Voodoo Sunrise Cocktail Recipe

• 2 oz of grenadine syrup
• 1 shot of vodka
• 1 shot of white rum
• orange juice

Instructions:

  1. Pour rum and vodka into a collins glass.
  2. Tilt the glass, and pour the grenadine down the inside.
  3. Fill with chilled orange juice, and serve.

A Brief Synopsis: A young woman, who as a child lost her parents to a voodoo sacrifice, with her husband and daughter returns to the island where it took place, With disastrous aftermath.
