In celebration of Colin Farrell’s 47th birthday on May 31st, Greg has chosen the 2011 remake of the 1985 vampire film “Fright Night” for our viewing enjoyment this week. Join Greg and Karen as they discuss the film while they enjoy a “Green Demon” cocktail. The recipe that Greg found on mixthatdrink.com is below.
Green Demon Cocktail Recipe
• 1 oz Midori
• 1 oz vodka
• 1 oz white rum
• lemonade (to taste)
Instructions:
- Build the liquors into a large goblet.
- Top with lemonade.
- Stir.
- Serve with a lime wheel garnish.
A Brief Synopsis: Charley is a high-school senior who’s in with the “in” crowd and dating Amy, the most sought-after gal on campus. But trouble enters his world in the form of Jerry Dandridge, a charismatic new neighbor. After witnessing some unusual activity next door, Charley concludes that Jerry is a vampire. Of course, no one believes him. After seeking advice from illusionist Peter Vincent, Charley sets out to destroy Jerry himself.
