Believing that this is a film that any horror fan should see, Karen has chosen the 1922 silent film “Nosferatu” starring Max Schreck for our viewing enjoyment this week. Join Greg and Karen as they discuss the film while enjoying a “Tito’s Terror-Tini“ cocktail. Karen found the recipe below at titosvadka.com.

Tito’s Terrortini Cocktail
• 1 1/2 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
• 1 oz lemon juice
• 3/4 oz simple syrup
• 1/2 oz pomegranate juice
• 1 maraschino cherry

Instructions:

  1. Add Tito’s Handmade Vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.
  3. Sink pomegranate juice by pouring slowly over the back of a spoon into cocktail.
  4. Drop in one maraschino cherry.

A Brief Synopsis: In this highly influential silent horror film, the mysterious Count Orlok summons Thomas Hutter to his remote Transylvanian castle in the mountains. The eerie Orlok seeks to buy a house near Hutter and his wife, Ellen. After Orlok reveals his vampire nature, Hutter struggles to escape the castle, knowing that Ellen is in grave danger. Meanwhile Orlok’s servant, Knock, prepares for his master to arrive at his new home.
