Celebrating the anniversary of the release of the film on August 9, 1959, Greg has chosen the Vincent Price film, “The Bat” for our viewing pleasurer this week. Join Greg and Karen as they discuss the film while they enjoy a Blind Bat Cocktail. The recipe that Greg found on cocktailbuilder.com is below.

Blind Bat Cocktail Recipe

• 4 oz of vodka
• 4 oz of Coca-Cola
• 1 splash of white rum

Instructions:

  1. Pour the Coca-cola into a tall glass, followed by the vodka.
  2. Add just a splash of Bacardi rum just for taste.
  3. Sit back and enjoy.

A Brief Synopsis: A killer called “the Bat” has claimed many lives in the small town inhabited by novelist Cornelia van Gorder and her maid, Lizzie. As Cornelia implores Dr. Malcolm Wells to help her ailing maid, $1 million in the town’s bank goes missing. With greed and fear reaching new heights, police Lt. Andy Anderson goes to Cornelia’s house to investigate additional murders committed by the Bat.
