Celebrating the birthdays of Mary and Madeleine Collinson on July 22nd, Greg has chosen the 1971 Hammer film, “Twins of Evil” for our viewing pleasure this week. Join Greg and Karen as they discuss the film while they enjoy a “Twin Sisters shot“. The recipe that Greg found on cocktailbuilder.com is below.

Twin Sisters Shot Recipe

• 1/2 oz light rum
• 1/2 oz spiced rum
• 1 dash of Coca-Cola (or cola)
• 1 dash of Rose’s lime juice (or lime juice)

Instructions:

  1. Shake with ice and strain into shot glass.

A Brief Synopsis: Set during the 17th century in Styria, identical twin sisters Maria and Frieda Gelhorn move from Venice to Karnstein in Central Europe to live with their uncle Gustav Weil after becoming recently orphaned. Weil is a stern Puritan and leader of the fanatical witch-hunting ‘Brotherhood’.
